1. Saprophytes are organisms that lives on and gets their nourishment from dead organisms or decaying organic material, especially a fungus or bacterium. For example, mucor, yeast, Indian pipe, corallorhiza orchids, mushrooms, etc.
2. Saprophytes play a very essential role for sustain of life on the Earth as these organisms recycle organic dead material in soil, breaking it down into simpler compounds that can be taken up by other organisms.

8. Bionomial nomenclature is a uniform international naming of organism. According to this nomenclature every organism is given two proper names. The first name is “Genus” name always started with capital letter and the second name is “species” started with small letter. Both names must be written in Italic (but in case of handwriting, as Italic will little difficult and there is chances of similarity with other words, we must underline these two names) to mark them as scientific names. For example, scientific name of human is “Homo sapiens” (or Homo sapiens).
